And lastly, Tony said that “maneuvering was taking place so that the RV could occur without disrupting Iraq”.
To me, it indicates that Maliki is leaving peacefully (imo the region cannot tolerate a hostile move against him – think Syria, Egypt and Iran), but he wants the credit for bringing in the RV to ‘his people’ (i.e. ego!!!!). To me, this means we are right there! Maliki can’t survive much longer (politically or literally)
[Gary5690] and he’s finally accepting this (see link above), so he needs to allow the PTB to do their thing (can you say “RV”), he takes his swan song and retires to his island retreat. Let’s sit back and watch this logical progression take place. If it takes a day or two to happen, let’s let it happen so the RV comes to us and that Iraq can move into the orderly transition that they so deserve. That’s why we’re here, right???
