INA reveals being biggest parliamentary bloc
[In Baghdad] The National Alliance officially announced that the largest bloc in the new Parliament which will nominate its candidate for Prime Minister and invited to attend the first meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 1st.
The President of the National Alliance, in a statement read out by Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, with the leadership and members of the Coalition “with the holy month of Ramadan a month of obedience and tender and the month of the Holy Quran and the interaction with the directives of the religious reference wise governing body met for the National Alliance and decided to announce that the National Alliance is the largest parliamentary bloc called on the House of representatives that would nominate a candidate for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in accordance with article constitutional.”
He also declared the Coalition attending the meeting scheduled on Tuesday next July 1, 2014 at the same time looks all National Alliance deputies and all the other political blocs to attend effective positive opening session of Parliament. ”

The representative of the Supreme religious reference Sheikh Abdul Mahdi karbalai called on the winning political blocs to agree on positions of the three presidencies before the new Parliament convenes next week.
Karbalai said in a speech on Friday that “after the Decree of the Presidency of the Republic, and inviting new members of Parliament to hold the first meeting Tuesday, the required political blocs agree on the three presidencies for the remainder and adherence to constitutional timings”.
