Today parliament had a big turnout of parliament members, big for Iraq that is, with 206 out of the 325 seats attending, or as amhvl put it, 63% versus the 57% attending Tuesday’s session of 175.
We did read an article yesterday that said they were going to increase the turnout and they did, it will only get better from here on out I believe, they will want to be apart of history in the making IMO.
The number one thing IMO on their agenda as I read it on my show last night, thanks to Gamaray bringing it to my attention that is was this first reading of the draft law ratification of Partnership of Cooperation Agreement between the Government of Iraq and the European Union that was signed in Brussels on May 5, 2012.

So I decided to see what all this was about and why was there such a big delegation of the EU in Baghdad a few weeks ago that we all read about.
Well I found out, this agreement provides for regular political dialogue on bilateral, regional and global issues wherever the EU and Iraq have a shared interest together. It is set up to improve and clarify their trade arrangements, to promote vital investment and to help integrate Iraq into the international economy once again.
It covers a set of framework for continuing cooperation in many areas, from health and education to environment and energy.
That is all well and good but that can’t be all to this, so I wanted to do some more digging. I ask myself a few questions to get started; why all the interest in Iraq from the EU (and all the other countries), what does the EU stand to get for all this, why has the EU committed more than 1 billion euros towards the reconstruction of Iraq since 2003, this according to Catherine Ashton.
Catherine is the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the European Commission and the one that signed this agreement.

http://www.eu-un.europa.eu/articles/fr/article_12164_fr.htm Was this commitment of funds hard currency that the EU invested in Iraq or was it part of the debt settlement that we have read so much about? Was the European Union members apart of the Paris Club reduction of debt arrangements?
By asking myself questions I then wanted to learn as much as I could about the Paris Club, as it has been over 2 years since I looked into them and even then it wasn’t a deep research attempt!
I wanted more information on the participating creditors and how this debt forgiveness has been arranged.
Why have so many countries just forgiven such a large amount of Iraq’s debt owed to them that totaled $120 billion and 200 million as of December 31, 2004? The debt owed to Paris Club creditors amounted to $37 billion 158 million, the U.S. share of this amount was around $4 billion.
None-Paris Club countries, mostly Persian Gulf countries, are owed around $60 – $65 billion. The remaining debts was to private commercial creditors.
Well we know that around $50 billion was owed to Kuwait alone and that is now down to $11 billion and according to an article I read on my show last night it looks like they may have made arrangements to use that money on joint investments between the two countries now.
Folks, what I have found will take me way too long to cover in this one blog and you would lose interest along the way and I would rather spend my time going over each document by way of video transcript that will keep you educated and entertained at the same time.
I will tell you this, my facts can prove that the Iraqi Dinar is in fact held by other countries and is part of a much bigger plan.
It will show that in fact we are part of something never done before and may very well never take place again.
So I have decided to go over it all on a special broadcast that I will get started on this afternoon, time to be announced by me emailing all our group members as soon as I get everything set up and a few things out of the way today.
This will cover all the documents that I have uncovered and I will point each and every one of you to these to back up my due diligence. You will come away with a much better understanding of what is going on between all these countries and the Republic of Iraq and solid proof as well, I promise you.
If you are unable to watch me live, no worries it will be on the On Demand WebTV Episode page right after my show is over but if you want to watch me live just check your email for the time. Have a great day. Stryker Blog
